In Melbourne:-

CCCA Dbl Gr Ch & Gold PN Narleekatz Huey, Kaylie Goodrick's Tawny neuter, received a rare honour at the Chandler Tribute show on 12 December. He was nominated as the GCCFV Supreme Cat of the Year, beating all the other cats who were leading their groups on points for the cat of the year awards. He is shown below with Kaylie

 

In Melbourne:-

At the season-ending Christmas Fare show on 20 November, Eileen & Karel Pittaway's young Tawny male, Merindalee Dumbledore (Merindalee Crikey X Merindalee Lady Of Fortune), was best Gr 3 Kitten (out of 12) in both rings, and Best Gr 3 Exhibit (out of 37) in one ring.

 

In Perth:-

Also at the COAWA Halloween Cat Show on 6 November, Karen Hsi’s Fawn Somali male kitten, Zabenka Naughty Alabaster, pulled off just about the coup of the year by being Best FSH kitten (out of 20) in one ring, and going on to be Supreme in Show (out of 83) in the same ring - a first for Fawn Somalis in Australia, methinks. “Ali” is from Tilsim Dan Houdini and Ch Zabenka Amazing Grace.

 

In Perth:-

At the COAWA Halloween Cat Show on 6 November, Lynne Moorman’s Tawny Somali neuter, Gr Pr Nareira Calvin Cline, was Best OFSH Desexed Cat (out of 7) in one ring and third in the other ring.  “Rossi’’  was bred by Debbie Thomas from Tilsim Dan Bruno Banani (Imp GER) and  Ch Joylincar Marrakech. He is shown below left Among the entire cats, Karen Hsi’s Tawny Somali male, Zabenka Shere Khan, was Best FSH Cat (out of 15) in one ring. He was bred by Karen from Zabenka Monty N Moonlight and Zabenka Sparkling Ruby.

     

 

In Sydney:-

The NSW CFA No Frills Show, on 15 October, was the last full championship show in these parts for nearly five months, and one Aby decided to end the year in style. George & Julie Kennedy's Tawny  female, Brz Dbl Gr Ch Nile Holly Ghost (Nat Show Ch, CCCA Tpl Gr Ch & Diamond Dbl Gr Ch Nile Phantom Of Hope X  Gr Ch Osiris(V) Sioux City Sue) was Best Gr 3 Female Cat (out of 14) in all three rings, Best Gr 3 Cat (out of 32) in two of them, and Supreme Exhibit in Show (out of 139) in one ring. She became a Sil Dbl Gr Ch and CCCA Ch in the process, and ensured her place as NSW CFA Gr 3 Female Cat of the Year.

 

In Melbourne:-

Kaylie Goodrick's Cinnamon female, Narleekatz Aussie Diamond (Narleekatz Aussie Influence X Sil Ch Narleekatz Roxy), was Best Gr 3 Kitten (out of 10) and Best Gr 3 Exhibit (out of 31) in one of the three rings at the Mountain Districts show on 9 October.  This repeats her performance at the earlier Foreign Shorthair show, where she was best Gr 3 Exhibit out of 39 in one ring.

 

 

In Melbourne:-

Eileen & Karel Pittaway's Tawny male, CCCA Ch & Sil Gr Ch Merindalee Fortune Teller (Ch & (US) Ch Fin Bheara's Fortune's Hand (Imp USA) and Ch Merindalee What Ever), reappears on this page after a brief absence, for his deeds at the Shepparton Ag. show on 9 October, where he was was Best Gr 3 Cat (out of 24) in one of the two rings. Teller is shown below with Eileen and judge Terry Barrett..

 

Near Sydney:-

At The Highlands show on 8 October, Ben White & Wendy Newton's Blue female, Swift Poppy,  was Best Gr 3 female kitten (out of 7) in one ring, and went on to be Best Gr 3 Kitten (out of 12), and went on to be 10th all-breed kitten (out of 55). Poppy, who is from Nile Ghost Who Walks and  Ch Swift Brontee, is show below left. George & Julie Kennedy's Tawny  female, Brz Dbl Gr Ch Nile Holly Ghost (Nat Show Ch, CCCA Tpl Gr Ch & Diamond Dbl Gr Ch Nile Phantom Of Hope X  Gr Ch Osiris(V) Sioux City Sue) was Best Gr 3 female Cat (out of 12) in two rings. She was then Best all-breed cat (out of 87), and Supreme Gr 3 Exhibit (out of 54). She is shown below with judge Allan Davies and steward  Di Stokes.

     

 

In Melbourne:-

At the Royal Melbourne show on 2 October, Melissa Mitchell's Cinnamon male, Brz Gr Ch Cenglow Sundance, was Best Gr 3 Cat (out of 35) in one ring, and went on to be Best All-breed Cat (out of 50) across the three rings. Sundance was bred by Sandra Doyle from Fin Bheara's Alejandro De La Vega (Imp USA) and Cenglow Sweet Toffee. He is shown below with the judges. Melissa's Tawny neuter, Brz Gr Pr Willowpark Weakatthe Knees (Tijah Pure Rapture X Ch Osiris(V) Bling), was similarly Best Gr 3 Desexed Cat (out of 10) in one ring, and then Best All-breed Desexed Cat (out of 31) overall. He is shown below  right.

     

 

In Sydney:-

Ben White & Wendy Newton's Blue female, Swift Poppy, performed better than any Blue Aby in living memory in NSW, when she was Best Gr 3 female kitten (out of 9) in all three  rings of  the Blue (!!) Pt Siamese Show on 1 October. Poppy is from Nile Ghost Who Walks and  Ch Swift Brontee. Ben & Wendy's Tawny female, Swift November Rain (Nile Ghost Who Walks X Brz Dbl Gr Ch Swift Djemila) was Best Gr 3 Female Cat (out of 18) and then  Best Gr 3 Cat (out of 31) in one ring, and their CCCA Tpl Gr Ch & Diamond Dbl Gr Ch Johari All That Jazz (Sil Dbl Gr Ch Tijah Trail Blazer X Gr Ch Johari Spirit  Of Kenya), a  Tawny neuter these days, was Best Gr 3 Desexed Cat in one ring, and R/U to best Gr 3 Exhibit Overall (out of 66) across the three rings.

Not  to be (entirely!) outdone, George & Julie Kennedy's Cinnamon male, Nile Rangiora [aka Red Rat] (Nat Show Ch, CCCA Tpl Gr Ch & Diamond Dbl Gr Ch Nile Phantom Of Hope X  Dbl Gr Ch Kemenkat Wind Dancer (Imp NZ)) was Best Gr 3 Male Kitten (out of 6) in one ring, and went on to be Best Gr 3 Kitten (out of 17). Their Tawny  female, Brz Dbl Gr Ch Nile Holly Ghost (Nat Show Ch, CCCA Tpl Gr Ch & Diamond Dbl Gr Ch Nile Phantom Of Hope X  Gr Ch Osiris(V) Sioux City Sue) was Best Gr 3 female Cat (out of 18) in one ring.

In Adelaide:-

Lori Fergusson's Tawny Somali neuter, CCCA Gr Ch & Gold Dbl Gr Ch Vivace El Tigre De Oro (Gold Dbl Gr Ch Vivace Virtuoso X Ikati Big Spender), who frequents this page, outdid himself on 9 September. At the single-ring Royal Adelaide show was Best Gr 3 Desexed Cat (our of 58), and went on to be Supreme Exhibit in show (out of 362). This the first time a Somali - whether entire or desexed - has been Supreme at this show.



Nr Wollongong:-

Three entire Abys - in three different colours - did well at the Illawarra shown near Wollongong on 11 September Ben White & Wendy Newton's Blue female, Swift Poppy (Nile Ghost Who Walks X Swift Brontee) did better than any Blue Aby in NSW for very many years - she was best Gr 3 Female kitten (out of 11) in two rings and 2nd in the remaining ring.  She is shown below left, with Margaret Sim, one of the judges who put her up. George & Julie Kennedy's Cinnamon male, Nile Rangiora (Nat Show Ch, CCCA Tpl Gr Ch & Diamond Dbl Gr Ch Nile Phantom Of Hope X  Dbl Gr Ch Kemenkat Wind Dancer (Imp NZ)) was Best Gr 3 Kitten (out of 19) in one ring; see him below centre. Then, G. & J. Kennedy's Tawny  female, Gr Ch Nile Holly Ghost (Nat Show Ch, CCCA Tpl Gr Ch & Diamond Dbl Gr Ch Nile Phantom Of Hope X  Gr Ch Osiris(V) Sioux City Sue) was Best Gr 3 female Cat (out of 20) in two rings, and 2nd in the third ring; that is the third straight show at which she has done that. In Perth:-

At the Birman Rex & Others/Southern & Siamese Cat Club Show  on 4th September, Lynne Moorman’s new kid on the block, Pr Nareira Calvin Cline, a Tawny Somali neuter, was Best Group 3 Desexed (out of 13) in one of the two rings. “Rossi’’ as he is affectionately known, was bred by Debbie Thomas from Tilsim Dan Bruno Banani (Imp GER) and  Ch Joylincar Marrakech. Rossi is shown below with visiting US judge Vickie Shields. 

 

In Brisbane:-

Michael and Sue Shawn's Tawny Male, Ch Cannonball of Wonderlove (Imp GER) was Best Gr 3 Cat (out of 11) in one ring of the QICC Spring show on 4 September. Jenni McKernan's Osiris(V) Talk Dirty To Me, who appears two slots below, was Best Gr 3 Male Cat in another ring. Cannonball was bred by Doris Angermund from Gr Int Ch Berenetto Banderas of Wonderlove and Zora of Wonderlove; he is shown below with Michael


In Melbourne:-

At the Sunshine show on 28 August, Eileen & Karel Pittaway's Tawny male, CCCA Ch & Sil Gr Ch Merindalee Fortune Teller, was Best Gr 3 Cat (out of 16) in one of the two rings, and went on to be Best Gr 3 Exhibit (out of 40) across the two rings. Teller is a son of Ch & (US) Ch Fin Bheara's Fortune's Hand (Imp USA) and Ch Merindalee What Ever, and is shown below with Karel.

 

In Perth:-

Lynne Moorman's Tawny Somali Neuter Aus Nat Pr, CCCA Nat Show Ch, CCCA Gr Ch, ACF AoE & Plat Gr Pr Joylincar Sun God Amun Ra, did very well at the Oriental Shorthair Cat Club Show on 28th August. He was Best Group 3 Desexed Cat in Ring 3 (out of 6) and reserve and third in the other two rings. He then went onto be Best Group 3 Exhibit (out of 29) in Ring 3 and followed that up with a Supreme Exhibit in Show (out of 64) in the same ring. On the same day “Tarek” became a Supreme Premier which is the highest title that a cat can receive with FCCWA. "Tarek" was bred by Carole Carroll from Sapph Gr Ch Kisompa's Calogero (Imp FIN) and Gr Ch Joylincar Koala Blue. 

 

In Brisbane:-

At the Ekka  Royal Queensland show during 14-20 August, new subscriber Jenni McKernan's Osiris(V) Talk Dirty To Me, Tawny male bred by Sue Shawn from Ch Highgaitpaws Have A Chat (Imp USA) and CCCA Gr Ch & Sapph Ch Osiris(V) Running Bear, was Best Gr 3 Cat (out of 25) in one of the two rings, and went on to be Supreme Exhibit in Show (out of 113). He is shown below with Jenni and judge Lesley Morgan Blythe

 

In Tamworth, NSW:-

At the Tamworth & District show on 27 August – the only August show in NSW! – G. & J. Kennedy's Tawny  female, Dbl Gr Ch Nile Holly Ghost (Nat Show Ch, CCCA Tpl Gr Ch & Diamond Dbl Gr Ch Nile Phantom Of Hope X  Gr Ch Osiris(V) Sioux City Sue) was Best Gr 3 female Cat (out of 12) in two rings, and 2nd in the remaining ring. She is shown below, unable to keep her eyes open after such a long drive there and back.

 

In Sydney:-

At the St George show on 31 July, Ben White & Wendy Newton's Tawny female, Swift November Rain (Nile Ghost Who Walks X Brz Dbl Gr Ch Swift Djemila) was Best Gr 3 Female Kitten (out of 15) in two of the three rings, and Best Gr 3 Kitten (out of 32) in one of them. Nova went on to be 5th Overall kitten (out of 76) across the three rings. She is shown below centre, with Wendy. In a parallel performance, George & Julie Kennedy's Cinnamon male, Nile Rangiora (Nat Show Ch, CCCA Tpl Gr Ch & Diamond Dbl Gr Ch Nile Phantom Of Hope X  Dbl Gr Ch Kemenkat Wind Dancer (Imp NZ)) was Best Gr 3 Male Kitten (out of 14) in two rings, and went on to be Best Gr 3 Kitten (out of 32) in one of them. "Red Rat" was then 3rd Overall Kitten. He is shown below left, with George. Among the adults, G. & J. Kennedy's Tawny  female, Gr Ch Nile Holly Ghost (Nat Show Ch, CCCA Tpl Gr Ch & Diamond Dbl Gr Ch Nile Phantom Of Hope X  Gr Ch Osiris(V) Sioux City Sue) was Best Gr 3 female Cat (out of 20) in two rings, and went on to be Best Gr 3 Cat (out of 33) in one of them. Holly was the R/U to Best Overall Cat (out of 103). Holly is shown below right.

Eileen & Karel Pittaway's Tawny female, Merindalee Whatacracker, was Best Gr 3 Kitten (out of 35) in one ring, and went on to be Best Gr 3 Exhibit (out of 86) in the ring, at the GCCFV Winter Follies show on 24 July. She is a daughter of CCCA Ch & Gold Gr Ch Merindalee Fortune Teller and Merindalee Perfect Hussey, and is shown below with NZ judge Raewyn Copeland, who put her up.

 

In Adelaide:-

Evelyn & Rita Bruche achieved a rare double at the Rex Fanciers show on 24 July: their Tawny Aby male, Gr Ch Vivace Dionysus (Dbl Gr Ch Vivace Orpheus Dbl Gr Ch Merindalee Mardi Gras) was Best Gr 3 Cat in Show (out of 29) in one ring, while their Tawny Somali male, Gr Ch Vivace Maestro (Gold Dbl Gr Ch Vivace Virtuoso X Dbl Gr Ch Vivace Gidget) was best Gr 3 Cat in show in the other ring!

     

In Sydney:-

George & Julie Kennedy's Tawny male, Ch Nile Argante (Nat Show Ch, CCCA Tpl Gr Ch & Diamond Dbl Gr Ch Nile Phantom Of Hope X  Gr Ch Osiris(V) Nile Red Pepper) excelled at the Western Districts show on 23 July. He was Best Gr 3 Male cat (out of 16) in two of the three rings, and went on to be Best Gr 3 Cat (out of 34) in one of them. He was then Best Overall Gr 3 Entire Cat, and that gave him entrée to the Supreme Exhibit selection process, which he won (out of 237) under a panel consisting of three overseas judges.

 

In Sydney:-

At the CCCA National Show on 16/ 17 July, the best performed Aby or Somali was Eileen & Karel Pittaway's Tawny female cat, Merindalee Demi Moore (Ch & (US) Ch Fin Bheara's Fortune's Hand (Imp USA) & Ch Merindalee Nicole Kidman).Out of 108 Gr 3 cats entered, she got one Best in Show, three 2nds and one 6th. Next best was George & Julie Kennedy's Cinnamon male kitten, Nile Rangiora (Nat Show Ch, CCCA Tpl Gr Ch & Diamond Dbl Gr Ch Nile Phantom Of Hope X Dbl Gr Ch Kemenkat Wind Dancer (Imp NZ)). Out of 104 Gr 3 kittens entered, he gained one Best in Show, two 3rds and two 4ths. Another to do well was Kaylie Goodrick's Tawny Neuter, CCCA Gr Ch & Gold PN Narleekatz Huey (CCCA Dbl Gr Ch & Diamond Dbl Gr Ch Johari All That Jazz & Ch Osiris(V) Sweet Influence),  who was Best Gr 3 Desexed Cat (out of 39) in one ring.

At the Kingston show on 10 July, Eileen & Karel Pittaway's Tawny male, CCCA Ch & Sil Gr Ch Merindalee Fortune Teller, excelled again. He was Best Gr 3 Cat (out of 29) in one ring and Best Gr 3 Exhibit (out of 73) in the ring. He was bred  from Ch & (US) Ch Fin Bheara's Fortune's Hand (Imp USA) and Ch Merindalee What Ever, and is shown with Eileen.

     

In Adelaide:-

Lori Fergusson's Tawny Somali neuter and "multiple repeat offender, CCCA Ch & Gold Dbl Gr Ch Vivace El Tigre De Oro (Gold Dbl Gr Ch Vivace Virtuoso X Ikati Big Spender) was Best Gr 3 Desexed Cat (our of 20) in one of the two rings of the GCSA Golden Awards show on 10 July, and went on to be Best Exhibit in show out of 80+). His photo with Lori is just below, and the pedigree is one item down.



In Adelaide:-

At the one-ring Tandanya show on 26 June. Evelyn & Rita Bruche's Tawny Somali girl, Vivace Little Town Flirt (Dbl Gr Ch Vivace The Joker X Dbl Gr Vivace Gidget) was Best Gr 3 Kitten out of 21. She is shown below left, while Lori Fergusson's Tawny Somali neuter, CCCA Ch & Gold Dbl Gr Ch Vivace El Tigre De Oro (Gold Dbl Gr Ch Vivace Virtuoso X Ikati Big Spender) who was Best Gr 3 Desexed Cat (again!) this time out of 11, is shown below right with Lori.

     

In Sydney:-

Abys did very well at the Federal Cat show on 18 June, starting with Betty Mitchell's Tawny Spay, CCCA Ch & Gold Dbl Gr Ch Tijah Miss Dior (Ch Unkamen Territory (Imp USA) X Tijah Sweet Perfection), who we Best Gr 3 Spay Cat (out of 12) in one of the three rings.

Ben White & Wendy Newton's Tawny Female, Swift November Rain (Nile Ghost Who Walks X Brz Dbl Gr Ch Swift Djemila) was best Gr3 Female Kitten (out of 11) in one ring, while their  CCCA Dbl Gr Ch & Dia Dbl Gr Ch Johari All That Jazz (Sil Dbl Gr Ch Tijah Trail Blazer X Johari Spirit of Kenya), appearing as a neuter for the first time, was Best Gr 3 Neuter (out of 12) in one ring, and went on to be 3rd Overall Cat in Show (out of 136).

George & Julie Kennedy's Tawny female, Dbl Gr Ch Kemenkat Wind Dancer (Imp NZ) (Gold Dbl Gr Ch Riverfern Eagle Warrior (Imp UK) X Dbl Gr Ch Nile Morganite) was Best Gr 3 Female Cat (out of 28) in one ring. In the same ring, their Cinnamon male, Ch Nile Ghost Rider (Nat Show Ch, CCCA Tpl Gr Ch & Dia Dbl Gr Ch Nile Phantom Of Hope X  Dbl Gr Ch Osiris(V) Sioux City Sue), was best Gr 3 Male Cat (out of 21) and Best  Gr 3 Cat (out of 49). In the second ring, their Nile Argante (Nat Show Ch, CCCA Tpl Gr Ch & Dia Dbl Gr Ch Nile Phantom Of Hope X  Gr Ch Osiris(V) Nile Red Pepper) had his turn at being Best Gr 3 Cat. In the last ring, their Nile Holly Ghost (same breeding as Ghost Rider) was Best Gr 3 Female Cat.

 

In Melbourne:-

At the Queen's Birthday show on 12 June, Janet Chrobok's Tawny Somali female, Brz Gr Ch Ikati Asha, was Best Gr 3 Cat in one ring and R/U in the other. This is a rare feat for a Somali in Victoria! Asha was bred by Janet from Shilabo Seppel Somali and Vivace Gone Troppo.



In Newcastle:-

At the Newcastle & Hunter Valley Show on 4 June, George & Julie Kennedy's Tawny female, Dbl Gr Ch Kemenkat Wind Dancer (Imp NZ),  was Best Gr 3 Female Cat (out of 15) in one ring. Winnie is from Gold Dbl Gr Ch Riverfern Eagle Warrior (Imp UK) and Dbl Gr Ch Nile Morganite, can be see below left. The Kennedys' other Tawny female, Nile Holly Ghost, was best Gr 3 Female Cat in another ring, and went on to be Best Gr 3 Cat (out of 30) and 4th All-Breed Cat across the three rings (out of 98). Holly is shown below, in a photo taken with a brand new phone camera!

Also not resting on her laurels, Eileen & Karel Pittaway's Tawny female, Merindalee Demi Moore, was Best Gr 3 Kitten (out of 29) in one ring. Best Gr 3 Exhibit (out of 68) and then Supreme Gr 3 Exhibit across the two rings. She is shown below being held up by judge Cheryl Pollock.



In Melbourne:-

Also at the Birman Society Show on 29 May, Sue Jentsch's Tawny Neuter, Osiris(V) Fast Talker, was Best Gr 3 Desexed Cat (out of 7) in one ring and second in the other two. Talker comes from a mating of Gr Ch Highgaitpaws Have A Chat (Imp USA) and CCCA Gr Ch & Sapph Gr Ch Osiris(V) Running Bear.



In Melbourne:-

Fresh from his triumphs at The Abyssinian Breeder show, Kaylie Goodrick's Tawny neuter, CCCA Gr Ch & Gold PN Vivace Narleekatz Huey, went to the Birman Society Show on 29 May, and was Best Gr 3 Desexed Cat (out of 7) in one ring. Huey then went on to be Best Gr 3 Exhibit in the ring (out of 46). He is shown below being presented by NSW judge Karen Moore.

Lori Fergusson's Tawny Somali neuter, CCCA Ch & Gold Dbl Gr Ch Vivace El Tigre De Oro, goes from strength to strength. At the Siamese Cat Club show on 22 May, he was Best Gr 3 Desexed Cat (out of 18) in one ring, and runner-up in the other. He  was bred by Evelyn & Rita Bruche, from Gold Dbl Gr Ch Vivace Virtuoso and Ikati Big Spender. He is shown here with Lori.

At the Siamese Cat Society show on 21 May, Ben White & Wendy Newton's Tawny Female, Swift November Rain, was best Gr3 Female Kitten (out of 16) in one of the three rings. Winnie, who is from Gold Dbl Gr Ch Riverfern Eagle Warrior (Imp UK) and Dbl Gr Ch Nile Morganite, can be see below left. Finally, the Kennedys' Cinnamon male, Nile Ghost Rider, was best Gr 3 Male Cat (out of 13) and went on to be Supreme Gr 3 Exhibit (out of 82) Ghostie is the same breeding as Holly Ghost below, and became a Champion on the day. He appears below centre, like a Rosé between two Tawnys.

The Birman All-Breeds show, held on 15 May, can best be described as a benefit concert for the Aby and Somali exhibits that stayed on from the preceding day's  Abyssinian Breeder show. Among the kittens Jan Fuller and Helen Norwood's Tawny male, Windsong Savuti (Osiris(V) Highlight X Tijah Soul Queen), was Best SH Kitten (out 32) in one of the three rings. Eileen and Karel Pittaway's Tawny female, Merindalee Demi Moore (Ch & (US) Ch Fin Bheara's Fortune's Hand (Imp USA) and Ch Merindalee Nicole Kidman), was also Best SH Kitten in one ring. Helen Norwood's Tawny female, Osiris(V) Time For A Chat (Gr Ch Highgaitpaws  Time For A Chat (Imp USA) X Sil Ch Osiris(V) Red Hot) was Best SH Kitten in the remaining ring, and went on to be Supreme SH Exhibit (out of 85).

Bred by Kaylie in her very first litter, Huey comes from a mating of CCCA Dbl Gr Ch & Dia Dbl Gr Ch Johari All That Jazz and Gr Ch Osiris(V) Sweet Influence.

Eileen & Karel Pittaway's Tawny male cat, Brz Gr Ch Merindalee Fortune Teller, and their Tawny female kitten, Merindalee Demi Moore, did very well indeed at the FCC Open show on 1 May, even by their own high standards. She was Best Gr 3 Kitten (out of 30) in both rings. He was Best Gr 3 Cat (out of 28) in both rings, and went on to be best Gr 3 Exhibit (out of 71) also in both rings. At the Shepparton Ag. show  on 10 April Eileen & Karel Pittaway's pair of "frequent offenders" did is again. His Tawny litter sister, Nile Holly Ghost, was best Gr 3 Female kitten (out of 15) in all three rings, and was Best Gr 3 Kitten (out of 29) and Best Gr 3 Exhibit (out of 62) in one ring. Their dam is Dbl Gr Ch Osiris(V) Sioux City Sue. Finally, G&J K's Tawny male, Nile Argante, was best Gr 3 Male kitten in two rings, and Best Gr 3 Kitten and Exhibit in both rings. Archie's dam is Gr Ch Nile Red Pepper, while the sire of all three kittens is Nat Show Ch, CCCA Tpl Gr Ch & Dmd Dbl Gr Ch Nile Phantom Of Hope. FCC VIC also started with a kitten show. Merindalee Demi Moore, Tawny Female bred by Eileen & Karel Pittaway from Ch &  (US) Ch Fin Bheara's Fortune's Hand (Imp USA) and Ch Merindalee Nicole Kidman, was Best group 3 kitten (out of 43) in both rings, and thus Supreme Group 3 kitten at the Pedigree Persian Cat Club of Victoria Kitten show on 6th February. 

 

In Sydney:-

George & Julie Kennedy's Tawny male kitten, Nile Argante, started the show season at the Federal Kitten Show on 6 February by being Best Gr 3 Kitten (out of 94) in two of the three rings, and then went on to be Supreme all-breed kitten (out of 146) across the three rings. Archie is a son of Nat Show Ch, CCCA Tpl Gr Ch & Diamond Dbl Gr Ch Nile Phantom Of Hope and Gr Ch Nile Red Pepper.
