In Melbourne:-
The Voogt family's Tawny neuter kitten, Osiris(V) Levi, has done well in two shows in a row. At the CAV Ballarat Agricultural show on 15 November, he was Best (and only!) Aby kitten in all four rings, Best Gr 3 Kitten (out of 24) in two rings and runner-up in the other two. He then went on to be Supreme Exhibit in show (out of 89). At the FCCV Christmas Fair show on 22 November, Levi was Best Aby kitten (out of 5) and Best Gr 3 Kitten (out of 23) in one of the two rings. Levi was bred by Sue Jentsch from Ch Osiris Heart N Soul and CCCA Gr Ch & Sapphire Gr Ch Osiris(V) Running Bear.
In Brisbane:-
Also at the FCCQ show on 8 November, Michelle Bedford's Tawny neuter, Asmara Arknahten, was Best Gr 3 Desexed Cat (out of 5) in two rings, and Best Aby Exhibit (out of 11) in one of them. With these wins, plus many others during the year, "Arkie" will be the 2009 CFCCQ, FQQC and QICC Desexed Exhibit of the Year. He was bred by Jenny Mckernan, from Jodaerin Rebel Heart and Asmara Crown Of Ishoa.
In Brisbane:-
At the FCCQ show on 8 November, Christine Mangin's Tawny spay, ACF Gold AoE, QFA Plat DGC & QICC Diamond DGC Zinnabar Opal D'Noir was Best Gr 3 Desexed Cat (out of 5) and Best Aby Exhibit (out of 11) in one of the three rings. "Mimi" was bred by Kerstin Jones from Zinnabar Cinnamon Daze and Dbl Gr Ch Asmara Opal Moon.
In Melbourne:-
Sue Jentsch Tawny male, Osiris(V) Aussie Dream has done well as a kitten this year, as several entries on this page will attest. He has now started doing well as a cat, at the FCC Spring Carnival, where he was Best Gr 3 Cat (out of 20) in one of the two rings, and went on to be Best Gr 3 Exhibit out of 53. Aussie was bred by Sue from Gr Ch Osiris(V) Perfect Dream and Merindalee Silent Witness.

At the QICC Little Paws Charity 4-ring show on 1q November, Michelle Bedford and Jenni Mckernan's Tawny female, Osiris(V) Queen Of Hearts, was Best SH Kitten (out of 27) twice, and was runner-up in another ring. She was bred by Sue Jentsch From Gr Ch Osiris(V) Perfect Dream and Brz Gr Ch Osiris(V) Influencedbuyou
In and near Melbourne:-
Coincidentally - or maybe not - Sue Jentsch's Osiris(V) Hearts Desire was R/U to Best Gr 3 Kitten in one ring of the Royal Melbourne Show on 19 September, She then followed it up at the Shepparton Ag. show on 10 October, where she was Best Gr 3 Kitten in the ring where Prada missed out. Hearts Desire was bred from Ch Osiris(V) Heat N Soul and Osiris(V) Chilali.
In and near Melbourne:-
At the Royal Melbourne Show on 19 September, Sue Jentsch's Tawny female, Osiris(V) Prada was Best Gr 3 Kitten (out of 16) in one of the two rings. Then, at the Shepparton Ag. show on 10 October, she did it all over again, but this time out of 18 kittens. Prada comes from a mating of Ch Osiris(V) Heat N Soul and CCCA Gr Ch & Sapphire Gr Ch Osiris(V) Running Bear.
In Adelaide:-
Also at the FASA Spring Show on 11 October, another of Evelyn and Rita Bruche's cats did even better than Hazy. This was their Tawny Somali male, Gold Dbl Gr Ch Vivace Virtuoso, was best Gr 3 Cat (out of 21) in one ring, and overall Supreme Exhibit (out of 112). Also a thoroughly Danish cat , "Zozo comes from a mating of Dushara Gone Walkabout (Imp DNK) and Dushara Surprise Symphony (Imp DNK). Like Hazy (below), he is thus a Danish Salami :-)
In Adelaide:-
At the FASA Spring Show on 11 October, Evelyn and Rita Bruche's ACF AoE, CCCA Dbl Gr Ch & Gold Dbl Gr Pr Vivace Hazy Shade Of Winter, was Best Gr 3 desexed cat (out of 20) in one ring, and 3rd in the other. Hazy is a Silver spay bred by Evelyn and Rita from Dushara Silver Catch Who Can (Imp DNK) and Dushara Dirty Woman (Imp DNK).
In Brisbane:-
For the second time in a couple of weeks, a Blue female has done well enough to feature on this page. At the QICC Hinterlands show on 10 October, Kerstin Jones's Dbl Gr Ch Asmara Opal Fire, was Best SH (Gr 2 & 3 combined) Cat in show (out of 21) in one ring. She also came 2nd in two more rings, and 3rd in the remaining ring. "Bella" was bred by Jenny Mckernan from Asmara Crown of Bushido and Asmara One Hot Babe.
In Perth:-
The last time Helen Norwood's Tawny male cat, Jodaerin Ringo's Starr, appeared on this page, he had just been Supreme Exhibit in show. He is here now because he's been Supreme Exhibit again, this time out of 156 at the Perth Royal Show on 26-28 September, He was bred by Helen from Gr Ch Johari At First Sight and Gr Ch Jodaerin Annilese.

At the Perth Royal on 26-28 September, another "previous offender". CCCA Ch & Diamond Gr Pr Joylincar Sun God Amun Ra, was Best All-Breed Desexed Cat (out of 37) in one of the two rings. "Tarek" is a Tawny Somali neuter owned by Lynne Moorman, and was bred by Carole Carroll from from Diamond Gr Ch Kisompa's Calogero (Imp FIN) and Joylincar Koala Blue.
In Adelaide:-
No stranger to this page, Lori Fergusson's Tawny Somali neuter, Sil Dbl Gr Pr Vivace El Tigre De Oro did well at the FASA Siamese Cat Club show on 27 September, where he was Best Gr 3 Desexed Cat (out of 14) in one of the two rings. "The Golden Tiger" was bred by Evelyn & Rira Bruche from Sil Dbl Gr Ch Vivace Virtuoso and Ikati Big Spender.
In Perth:-

He then went on to be Supreme Exhibit in show out of 95. Ringo's Starr comes from a mating of Gr Ch Johari At First Sight and Gr Ch Jodaerin Annilese.

At the West Australian SHCC show on 30 August, Helen Norwood's romantically name Blue female, Jodaerin Kisses In The Moonlight, was Best Gr 3 Kitten (out of 16) in one of the two rings. At the Abyssinian show in Sydney the week before, she had been R/U to Best kitten (out of 20) in two of the three rings. Such honours do not come readily to Blue exhibits in Australia! Kisses was bred by Helen from Gr Ch Johari At First Sight and Gr Ch Jodaerin Annilese.

Just to prove that there were also females at the Abyssinian Cat Club of Australasia show on 23 August, Sue Jentsch's Tawny female, Brz Gr Ch Osiris(V) Influencedbuyou, was Best Cat in show (out of 20) and Best Exhibit in show (out of 49) in one ring, and runner/up cat and exhibit in another ring. Yon comes from a mating of Gr Ch Rififi of Wonderlove (Imp GER) and Tijah Influence.

Coolie's sire was Gr Ch Rififi of Wonderlove (Imp GER) while his dam was CCCA Ch & Sil Gr Ch Osiris(V) Running Bear.

Still at the Abyssinian Cat Club of Australasia show on 23 August, Ben White and Wendy Newton's Tawny male, CCCA Ch & Brz Dbl Gr Ch Johari All That Jazz, was Best Cat in show (out of 20) and Best Exhibit in show (out of 49) in one ring. Jazzy was bred by Carol Collins from SIl Dbl Gr Ch Tijah Trail Blazer and Gr Ch Johari Spirit of Kenya.
In Sydney:-
Another good performer at the Abyssinian Cat Club of Australasia show on 23 August was Kaylie Goodrick's Gr Ch Nile Sunstone, a Fawn female, who was Runner-up cat in show out of 20 in one ring, and also R/U to Best Exhibit. This is the best performance ever at the Abyssinian Breeder show by a Fawn. Sunny was bred by George & Julie Kennedy from Nat Sh Ch, CCCA Tpl Gr Ch & Diamond Dbl Gr Ch Nile Phantom Of Hope and Dbl Gr Ch Osiris(V) Red Fire Mist.

In Perth:-
At the CCCA National Show in Perth on 25/26-Jul-09, Johari Jangada, a Tawny female kitten, was the easily best performed Aby, with three Best Gr 3 Kitten placings (out of 66), two 2nd placings, one 3rd, one 5th and one 11th. To top if off, in one ring she was Best Gr 3 Exhibit (out of 164) and Supreme Exhibit in Show out of 286 Jangada is owned by Carol Collins, who bred her from Gr Ch, RW Wil-o-glen Jules Verne (Imp USA) and Gr Ch Johari Spirit of Kenya.
In Perth:-
Also at t the CCCA National Show in Perth, Brz Gr Ch Osiris(V) Influencedbuyou was the best performed Aby cat, Out of the eight rings, she was 2nd (out of 79) Gr 3 cat in two rings, as well as getting a 4th, a 5th, a 10th and an 11th placing. "Yon" is shown here with Breeder/owner Sue Jentsch. She comes from a mating of Gr Ch Rififi of Wonderlove (Imp GER) and Tijah Influence, and seems to specialise at doing well at major shows.

Brz Dbl Gr Ch Vivace El Tigre De Oro has been doing very well again. At the FASA Annual show on 12 July, Lori Fergusson's Tawny Somali neuter was Best Gr 3 Desexed Cat (out of 12), and went on to be Supreme Exhibit in Show out of 168. He was bred by Evelyn & Rira Bruche from Sil Dbl Gr Ch Vivace Virtuoso and Ikati Big Spender.
In Adelaide:-
Helen Norwood's Tawny male kitten, Jodaerin Ringo's Starr, didn't quite win at the ACF National show on 7 June, but he did come second in one ring and 3rd in another out of 112 Gr 3 kittens. His details appear straight below the photo, in which he is being judged by Janis Christison.
In Perth:-
Helen Norwood's Tawny male kitten, Jodaerin Ringo's Starr, excelled at the WA Cat Club show on 31 May. He was Best Gr 3 kitten (out of 32) in one ring and 2nd in the other ring. He then went on to be Runner-Up to Supreme Exhibit in Show out of 119. He was bred by Helen from Gr Ch Johari At First Sight and Gr Ch Jodaerin Annilese.
In Melbourne:-
At the Pedigree Persian show on 31 May, Sue Jentsch's Osiris(V) Queen Of Hearts was Best Gr 3 Kitten in one ring (out of 40), and then went on to be Best Overall Gr 3 Exhibit (out of 78) across the two rings. This 15-week-old Tawny female comes from a mating of Gr Ch Osiris(V) Perfect Dream and Gr Ch Osiris(V) Influencedbuyou.
In Sydney:-
Ben White & Wendy Newton's Tawny male, Ch Osiris(V) Royal Doulton did well at the Siamese Cat Soc. show on 24 May. He was Best Gr 3 Male Cat in one of the three rings, and went on to be Supreme Cat - entire & desexed, Gr 2 & G 3 - out of 76. "Willow" was bred by Sue Jentsch from Ch Osiris(V) Chief Redbull and Tijah Porcelain Blue.
In Adelaide:-
At the FASA Fundraiser show on 17 May, Evelyn & Rita Bruche's Tawny male, Brz Dbl Gr Ch Vivace Orpheus, was best Gr 3 Cat (out of 14) and Exhibit (out of 41) in both rings. He then went on to be Supreme Exhibit in Ring 1 (out of 97). Orpheus was bred by Evelyn & Rita from Glenmaulyn Mr Mercury and Merindalee Exotic Dancer.
In Canberra:-
Sue Jentsch's Tawny male cat, Osiris(V) Heart 'N Soul, was Best Gr 3 Cat (out of 42) and Exhibit (out of 92) in one ring of the Birman All Breeds show. He was bred by Sue from Gr Ch Rififi of Wonderlove (Imp GER) and Ch Tijah Porcelain Blue, and is one of those relatively rare Twny Abys that don't have any Tawny parents.
In Canberra - Wot, no cat?:-
Sue Jentsch's Tawny female, Gr Ch Osiris(V) Influencedbuyou, popped in to The Abyssinian Breeder show in Canberra on 16 May, with a couple of her recent kittens. For her efforts, she was rewarded with wins in two of the three rings, and was thus Supreme Cat (out of 25), and then Supreme Exhibit in a very hot fields of 54 Abys and Somalis present. "Yon" comes from a mating between Gr Ch Rififi of Wonderlove (Imp GER) and Tijah Influence. Unfortunately, there was no room for we to appear in the photo below, but she is bound to turn up at other shows quite soon. In fact, she was Best Gr 3 Cat (out of 42) and Exhibit (out of 92) in one ring of the Birman All Breeds show on the following day.

Also at The Abyssinian Breeder show, on May 16. Sue Hatcher's Tawny male, Tijah Storm Front, was Supreme Kitten out of 23. He was bred by Sue from Johari Soul Mate and Tijah Queen Of Hearts.

Michelle Bedford's Tawny neuter, Asmara Arknahten, was Supreme Desexed Cat at The Abyssinian Breeder show, out of 7 on May 16. Arky was bred in Brisbane by Jenny Mckernan, from Jodaerin Rebel Heart and Asmara Crown Of Ishoa.
In Adelaide:-
Evelyn and Rita Bruche's "Hazy", a.k.a. ACF AoE, CCCA Dbl Gr Ch & Gold Dbl Gr Pr Vivace Hazy Shade Of Winter, was Best Gr 3 desexed cat (out of 15) and Best Gr 3 Exhibit (out of 69) at the Southern Districts show on 12 April. For those who missed her good performances over the past couple of years, she is a Silver spay from Dushara Silver Catch Who Can (Imp DNK) and Dushara Dirty Woman (Imp DNK).

At the North Western A/B show on 5 April, Sue Jentsch's Osiris(V) Cool Running was Best Gr 3 Cat in Show (out of 28) in both rings, and Supreme Exhibit in Show (out of 157) in one ring. A Tawny male, "Coolie" is show here with Sue, who bred him from Gr Ch Rififi of Wonderlove (Imp GER) and CCCA Gr Ch & Gold Gr Ch Osiris(V) Running Bear.

In one ring of the 3-ring Goulburn show on 21 March, George & Julie Kennedy's Tawny female cat, Ch Osiris(V) Sioux City Sue, was Best Gr 3 Cat out of 21 and Best Gr 3 Exhibit out of 68 (see the details & photos at Siamese & Bathurst, below)

In one ring of the 3-ring Goulburn show on 21 March, George & Julie Kennedy's Cinnamon female kitten, Nile Red Pepper was Best Gr 3 Kitten out of 33 (see the details & photo at Bathurst, below)

George & Julie Kennedy's Tawny female cat, Osiris(V) Sioux City Sue (see also Bathurst, below), was Best Gr 3 Female cat in two of the three rings at the Siamese & SH show on 15 March, and went on to be Best all-bred cat, out of 74.

Carol Collins's Tawny female kitten, Johari Africaysia, was Best Gr 3 Female kitten at the Siamese & SH show on 15 March, in two of the three rings, our of 43, and went on to be R/U to Best all-breed kitten, out of 79. Caysia comes from a mating of Gr Ch Johari Africander and Johari Amulette.
In Bathurst, NSW:-
Also at the Bathurst Royal, George & Julie Kennedy's Tawny female cat, Osiris(V) Sioux City Sue, was Best Gr 3 Cat in two rings (out of 15), and also Best Gr 3 Exhibit in show (out of 45). Like a couple of other cats on this page, Suzie was bred by Sue Jentsch from a mating of Gr Ch Rififi of Wonderlove (Imp GER) and CCCA Gr Ch & Gold Gr Ch Osiris(V) Running Bear.

In one ring of the 3-ring Bathurst Royal, George & Julie Kennedy's Cinnamon female kitten, Nile Red Pepper, was Best Gr 3 Kitten out of 15, at her first show on 8 March. She is a daughter of Ororina's Bjørnstjerne Bjørnson and Dbl Gr Ch Nile Posh Spice,

At the FCC show on 1 March, Zinnabar Blackberry's Gift, a Fawn male owned and bred by Kerstin Jones, was best Gr 3 Kitten out of 18 in one rings. She comes from a mating of ACF AoE & Plat Dbl Gr Ch Zinnabar Blackberry and Ch Zinnabar Cinnamon Kisses. He is shown below with Scoot Andresen, the judge in whose ring he won.

At the Canberra Royal show on 28 February, Carol Collins' Tawny female, Johari Africasia, was Best Gr 3 Kitten in show (out of 6) in two of the three rings, and in one of them, she went on to be Best Gr 3 Exhibit out of 33. She comes from a mating of Gr Ch Johari Africander and Johari Amulette.
